Cheeky Emu was born out of a need to create a hat that would be both sun safe and warm - a beanie, bucket and legionnaire hat hybrid! With a vintage twist (yes Wes Anderson fan here).
We’re a young family who spend a lot of time out in the sun at the beach all year round. Taking a new baby out into the elements we needed a hat that would protect her from the sun but also keep her warm. A beanie just didn’t seem suitable in the Australian sun - so we designed a better hat.
We’ve spent three years developing our winter hat range - we hope you’ll find them as practical as we do, while your kids look super cute at the same time!
